The Banning Unified School District is inviting feedback on its Transportation Plan for the 2024-25 academic year. This plan is essential for setting priorities for home-to-school transportation, ensuring that we address the needs of our students in a structured manner. We are proud to offer free-of-cost transportation to all students who meet the State's requirement, enabling us to secure additional funding. This funding is crucial for enhancing safety measures, meeting our staffing needs, and improving as well as expanding our infrastructure. Initiatives include the introduction of a student tracking system, staff safety training, better pay and conditions for our drivers, and investments in our transportation yard and fleet, including a shift towards electric vehicles.

Today was the Groundbreaking Ceremony at the Florida Street Discovery Center! 👷🚜 Work is underway to make the space even better for our students! At the end of the project they will include instruction of new classrooms, retrofitting existing facilities to allow space for preschool, transitional kindergarten or full day kindergarten instruction, in addition to an expanded playground area!
